Lucille will be playing the role of Piper.
Lucille Loren Vasquez is an actor, dancer, singer, and writer based in the Bronx. She graduated from Providence College in 2021 with a BA in Theatre where she studied Hagen’s acting technique. Her most recent live performances were the original production of E.G.G at Teatro Latea and The Love Hate Club at Theatre Row. Other stage acting credits include For the Love of Lina as Lina, The Misanthrope as Celimene, and Lost Girl as Katie. Her film acting credits include her performance in Apple Pie, Shortcuts, VR, Raising Isaac, and Oranges. Lucille has a special interest in workshopping new material and productions. She joined Art Defined’s inaugural Flip the Script Anthology Performance with her most recent play Up Against which tackles themes of family, violence, and womanhood. Lucille has trained with Deena Levy at Deena Levy’s Theatre Studio studying Meisner’s technique and with Melissa Cintron at Pelham Music Arts Studio.
Malliki will be playing the role of Jordan.
Born in Philadelphia, PA Raised in Orangeburg, SC
He is a professional Rapper, DJ, Song Writer and Producer. Known for his presence in the music industry, Malliki utilized his network and branched out into acting. Landing background roles on shows such as Kindred, and HBO Succession was a motivation for him to pursue acting as a full-time commitment. His acting experience includes Plays, Stand up comedy, and short internet skits from the days of Vine. Beyond entertainment Malliki has an educational background in psychology. He’s all around talented and has the personality to captivate crowds and the energy to rock any stage.
Adelia Castillo is thrilled to make her Theater Debut. Born and raised in NYC Adelia grew up surrounded by the arts, and found her love of performing early on. Currently a sophomore attending The Atlantic Acting Studio at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, the Singer/Actress is now represented by Stewart Talent agency. Her hobbies include running, slam poetry, dancing and writing. Casting is currently underway.
Anaïs Cerina Irizarry is an actor, dancer, choreographer, and visual artist. Her credits include; performing on stage at the Brooklyn Children’s Theatre from 2011 to 2014. In 2015, Modern Medley of scenes from the Odyssey by Homer. In 2018; Dance Showcase at Brooklyn Friends. From 2019 to 2023, Anaïs has been performing in her high school’s Dance Concert, and from 2020 to 2023, and choreographed the Concert. In 2019 and 2021, she performed in Cabaret and The Trouble With Dead Boyfriends. In 2021, she performed in She Kills Monsters. Anaïs has also been performing anecdotal stories for some of The Moth’s StorySLAM, GrandSLAM, Mainstage, and Anniversary events. She will be graduating from her high school in June of 2023, and plans on majoring in Engineering and minoring in the Theatre Arts during her post-secondary education.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Genesis Steward began her dance training at the age of 2. Now a high school junior with a concentration in dance at Talent Unlimited, she has studied the Horton technique, Martha Graham’s technique, and currently Paul Taylor’s. Genesis is a conservative dancer with training from Mark Morris and the Alvin Ailey Pre-Professional Division. She has performed many ballet, Afro-Caribbean, jazz, modern, and hip-hop pieces over the years and is currently working on her Paul Taylor piece for her school’s Spring Concert. Landing lead roles in school musicals such as Into The Woods, The Lion King, and more, Genesis briefly studied acting with Actors Technique NY. She now plays volleyball on her high school varsity team and club team, Brooklyn Elite Volleyball. She wishes to pursue college athletics and further her dancing at an HBCU and is interested in earning a degree in marketing.
Christine McLeod-Dillon, dancer, holds an Associate’s degree in Science from NYCTC, a B.Sc. in Special Education, a M.A. in School Counseling and a Post Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Brooklyn College. Her performing credits include The Omalay Dance Theatre, Something Positive Dance Company, Creative Outlet Dance Theatre, St. Paul’s Community Baptist Church Theatre Arts Ministry The Maafa, He Got Up and Black Nativity. Christine is also a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer and has worked extensively with the YWCA, the Paedergat Club and Crunch Fitness. Her favorite pastimes are travelling and shopping. She is thankful and humbled for the opportunity to be a part of the cast of “Finding My Steps”.
Tyquanda Johnson is pleased to join the cast of Finding My Steps. She is a native of Bridgeport, CT. She has been dancing since the age of 5. She has trained with Ailey School at the age of 12 and has performed with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Savion Glover. She attended the Regional Center for the Arts throughout high school with concentrations in Dance and Theater. She has performed in multiple stage plays and starred as one of the leading roles in the award winning film Salina P. and the Film Sin Apple. She has created a podcast called Somebody’s Mama; a platform for Black Millennial Mamas. Tyquanda serves as a Dance coach/choreographer for a Charter School in New York City and continues to pursue her dream of creativity and expression.

Dianne is a choreographer in Finding My Steps.
Dianne Robinson is a Jamaican born dancer and educator who has been dancing professionally for 30+ years. Dianne is a teaching Artist at Jamel Gaines Creative Outlet (JGCO) and Partnership with Children (PWC) and performs with various New York based organizations. She performed as a dancer/dance director for Finding My Steps. She studied Ballet, Modern, and African dance and received her formal education from Alvin Ailey Dance School and Hunter College School of Dance. She choreograph at various colleges, schools, and community organizations throughout the country. She traveled to Reykjavik, Iceland where she taught and choreographed at Kramhusid Dance Company. While there she taught dance at the preschools, elementary and high Schools. Dianne believes that dance is a vehicle to unite people from diverse cultures and nationalities.

Felicia is the writer and producer of Finding My Steps.
She has appeared in Dearborn Heights at the Vital Theatre in NYC. Her other professional credits include Somebody Called by Eugene Lee, national tour of Blue at The Pasadena Playhouse , Miss Evers Boys in Los Angeles. The Young Playwrights Festival at Playwrights Horizon, The African Company Presents Richard the Third with The Acting Company, 2 seasons at the Delaware Theatre Company: Boot in Wake up Lou Riser and Valley Song by Athol Fugard. She has worked on Various projects at the PlaywrightsTheatre of New Jersey, Urban Stages and Theatreworks USA in NY. Her television and film credits include Law and Order, Guiding Light, Malcolm X, and the short film Breeze which was shown at the Toronto and Sundance Film Festivals. She received her Meisner training from Maggie Flanagan and Bill Esper.
